We recognize that right now is a difficult time in your life as you deal with having a loved one or a friend in jail. Our goal is to make communicating with this individual convenient and reasonably priced.

Collect phone calls are the default calling option from jails served by Pay Tel. If you currently use a cell phone, VoIP phone, these carriers do not allow inmate collect calls to be billed to your number, making it necessary for you to establish an account with Pay Tel in order to accept phone calls from the jail.

Pay Tel has developed quick and easy options for you to open an account with us so that your ability to receive calls will not be interrupted. Pay Tel offers several calling options to help you stay connected:

  • PayTelPREPAY™ –  A Prepaid Account where you pay for your calls before receiving them. With the Prepaid Account option, there is no credit check.
  • PayTelDIRECT™ – A Direct Billed Option (for credit qualified customers) where we bill you for accepted calls on a monthly basis.
  • PayTelDEBIT™ – An option that allows the inmate to use his/her own trust account funds to pay for phone calls (available at selected facilities).

For your convenience, Pay Tel accepts payments with VISA, MasterCard, Debit Card, MoneyGram® and Western Union® QuickCollect™.

Our goal is to respect every customer and provide quick, courteous service to all of our customers.
