  • When customers make a payment using one of the third party automated payment providers including Western Union, Website Payment, Automated Phone Payment or Live Payment Center, Pay Tel is notified of the payment immediately.
  • When customers make a payment using MoneyGram, Pay Tel is notified within 2 hours of the payment.
  • The moment we get notification of a payment, we post the information on our Automated Customer Service Phone System (1-800-729-8355) where you can check your balance.
  • The block release is then transferred to the equipment at each facility and the blocks are released later that day.  Depending on the facility, the blocks are released immediately or may take up to four hours in some facilities.
  • It is our goal to shorten this process at every opportunity.
